Bocanova is proud to be one of the first businesses to open in Oakland's revitalized Jack London Square, named for the famous Bay Area writer, who spent his youth on this stretch of Oakland waterfront. The Square-on the cusp of becoming an exciting dining and entertainment district-is easily accessible from San Francisco by car, ferry, and BART.
Bocanova is situated at the foot of Webster Street at Embarcadero in Jack London Square overlooking the Yacht Harbor and the Oakland Estuary beyond. Beneath the lovely palm-tree covered plaza at the entrance to Bocanova lies the Posey Tube completed in 1928. While a convenient way to drive from Oakland to Alameda, it may befuddle your GPS if you enter the actual address for Bocanova. To avoid being lead under the bay to Alameda, enter 100 Webster Street into your system. Bocanova is located in the Square, directly across.
There are two "Pay-for-Parking" Garages and a Surface Lot for your parking convenience. The 1st hour at the two garages is discounted with our validation. The surface lot offers a flat fee. One garage is located underground in the old Barnes and Noble building in JLS at the foot of Broadway and/or Franklin. The other is located above-ground at 2nd & Harrison Street. The surface lot is located next to the future Market Hall building on Embarcadero.
There is both Free & Metered Street Parking available. The meters are enforced until 6pm.
Valet Parking, on the Square directly in front of Bocanova at the foot of Webster at Embarcadero, is available nightly from 5pm. The cost is $10
